‘Mineral resources in Poland’s economic strategy – how to mine, how to acquire, how to save in the era of sustainable development? – this is the slogan of the 4th Polish Mining Congress that will be held on 20-22 November 2017 in Krakow. Scientists and representatives of the mining industry from all over Poland that were invited to take part in the debate will discuss the most important issues in the sector. FAMUR SA is one of the partners of this event.
22 thematic sessions are planned to be held as part of the conference, during which over 300 lectures will be given. Apart from the debate, there will be three satellite sessions in Bochnia, Czatkowice and Piast-Ziemowit mines, two training workshops and a number of discussion forums. The topics of the debates include, among other things, energy security, new techniques and technologies in underground mining, conveyor transport system, automation and robotics in the mining industry. Mirosław Bendzera, CEO of FAMUR SA, and other representatives of our Group are among people who will give lectures on industry-specific topics during the Polish Mining Congress.
