Assembly chambers

FAMUR is an experienced and respected manufacturer of auxiliary transport equipment and systems, intended for the haulage and handling of materials and for transporting people. All assembly chambers offered by FAMUR  are adapted to be used in areas with methane and coal dust explosion hazards.

The offered assembly chambers of the powered roof support units are sets of devices facilitating assembly, disassembly, loading onto the platform and unloading the powered roof support unit from the platform. All devices included in the assembly chamber equipment are adapted to be used in underground mines exposed to methane or coal dust explosion. They are completed according to individual customer needs.

Assembly chamber P40-004

Example of an assembly chamber using the FEST-15 shunting locomotive. The power pack travels along one of the tracks of the assembly chamber – only the electric power cable is connected to it. Standard mobile hoists with hydraulic drive can be used to lift the powered roof support units.
