Between 7 and 10 June, the FAMUR Group took part in the International Trade Fair for Mining Technology, Preparation, Material Handling and Safety & Security which was held in the Russian city of Novokuznetsk.
“Today, we have solid organisational and financial bases for further international expansion of the FAMUR Group” – said Mirosław Bendzera, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FAMUR S.A., during the discussion panel “Foreign expansion of Polish companies” which took place at the 8th European Economic Congress.
At the end of March 2016, FAMUR FAMAK’ s group of customers was joined by EMO - the largest transhipment terminal for coal and iron ore in Europe. The subject matter of the contract of over PLN 32 million is design, delivery, installation and commissioning of the dry bulk handling and transportation system of 6,000 t/h capacity.
On March 17, 2016, a special purpose vehicle of TDJ S.A. being the dominant shareholder of FAMUR S.A., has concluded with Mr. Krzysztof Jędrzejewski a conditional agreement for the purchase of controlling shares of Kopex S.A. FAMUR has been also notified that it will be entitled to enter into rights arising from the aforementioned agreement.
