In the field of opencast mining, we provide drive solutions including:

Our FBWG250, FBWG500, FBWG1000 and FBWG2x500 bucket wheel drive gearboxes have a power range from 250kW to 1000kW and gear ratios from i=147 to i=231. These gearboxes are equipped with forced lubrication systems and oil heaters. The weight of the largest one is 36 tons, and the torque on the output shaft reaches 2.23 MNm. All gearboxes in this group are highly specialized, proven solutions and have been equipped with an advanced diagnostic system monitoring their operation (with the option of offering remote supervision to the customer).

The FSP700, FSP860, FSP950, FSP1200 planetary-worm gearboxes feature very high ratios reaching i=840. Despite the fact that torques reach up to 2MNm, they have compact dimensions. This is possible due to the use of a worm stage and two epicyclic stages in their design/construction. Depending on the application, they can be equipped with forced lubrication systems and parking brake systems.
