From 1 January 2018, following the submitted resignation, Zbigniew Fryzowicz will leave the Management Board of FAMUR SA However, he will still be acting in the Group’s structures as a production and trading adviser to the Management Board. By the decision of the Supervisory Board of the company, Adam Taborek has been appointed for the position of a deputy CEO. At the same time, he will be acting as the President of the Longwall Systems Segment.
– Personal changes in the Management Board of FAMUR SA represent the optimum succession within the organization. The new member of the company’s authoriries, Adam Taborek, after his achievements in NiUW Glinik, brings to the FAMUR Group his practical experience in international trade development. His main goal will be to strengthen the position of FAMUR in export markets as part of the Go Global strategy. He will be supported by Zbigniew Fryzowicz, who holds the function of a production and trading adviser to the Management Board in the company. I am convinced that such a model of succession, combining the new look on the company’s operations with many years of knowledge, is a response to the current challenges of the Group – said Miroslaw Bendzera, CEO of FAMUR SA Zbigniew Fryzowicz has several years of experience in industrial companies. He started his career in NFUG “NOWOMAG” in 1980 as a Master of Production. Over the years of work in the company, he was promoted to the position of the CEO and the director for production and trade. He also worked at the FASING Group and was a member of the managment bodies of FMG “PIOMA”. In the years 2008-2010, Zbigniew Fryzowicz held the position of a deputy CEO of FAMUR SA, and then the President of the Management Board of ZMG „GLINIK” in the period of 2011-2013. From June 2015, he again held the position of a deputy CEO of FAMUR SA In his long career, Zbigniew Fryzowicz has led the subordinate enterprises through complex change processes. He restructured the plants in Nowy Sącz, Piotrków Trybunalski and Gorlice and participated in the development as well as consistent implementation of the Operational Integration Programme in the FAMUR Group. He also supervised the transfer of processes from the old production facilities of FAMUR and their organization in the new production plant of the Group, which was launched under his supervision. In recent months, he was also responsible for the integration of the functions of the acquired plants of Kopex in Zabrze and Rybnik with the resources of the FAMUR Group. Zbigniew Fryzowicz has been involved in commercial activities, such as negotiating foreign contracts, including the ones in Turkey and Russia, as well as looking for new opportunities for using the company’s products. In turn, Adam Toborek’s professional career bagan in the BRADO companies. In the years 2000-2015, he was associated with the RAMIRENT Group, where he served as a Member of the Management Board in RAMIRENT Scaffolding and a Member of the Management Board in RAMIRENT SA From late April 2017 he was the Deputy President of the Management Board of NiUW Glinik, and a year later he became a President of the Management Board of that company. At that time, together with his team, he successfully implemented a new development strategy for NiUW Glinik, which was based on the specialization of products and their introduction onto the global market, as well as on building lasting relationships with the leading global drilling companies. In the last two years, Adam Toborek was responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s new strategy, execution of a series of investments in new technologies and modernisation of the production plant. His tasks also included establishing relations and obtaining orders from the world’s largest players in the drill segment. These activities allowed a significant increase in the financial result of NiUW Glinik as well as a stepwise increase in the share of revenue from export sales, which in 2017 will amount to nearly 90%. Today, NiUW Glinik is a global company, and drilling tools from the Gorlice factory reach the recipients in Europe, Africa, Asia, North America and the Middle East.
