Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa SA and Grenevia SA signed a letter of intent on cooperation.

Kielce, September 5, 2025. Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa SA, one of the largest defense companies in Europe, and Grenevia SA, an investment company operating in the industrial and renewable energy sectors, signed a letter of intent on cooperation at the International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO  in Kielce. This cooperation may include joint project implementation, optimization of production processes, and the supply of components and services.

Grenevia is a Katowice-based investment holding company operating in four business segments. Under the FAMUR brand, it provides solutions for the mining and energy industries.

– For over 100 years, FAMUR has been creating and perfecting solutions for the mining industry – machines and equipment that must operate in extremely difficult conditions. Thanks to our experience, extensive production base comprising five plants and unique Polish technological know-how, we are ready to implement ambitious projects in key industrial sectors, including the arms sector – says Tomasz Jakubowski, CEO of FAMUR SA.

Establishing cooperation with Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa will not only allow us to strengthen our market position, but above all, to actively participate in the development of the country’s defense potential. Our expertise in mechanics, hydraulics, and electronics provides a solid foundation for implementing new projects- adds Adam Toborek, representative of the FAMUR SA management board.

The Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) comprises nearly 70 production plants, service facilities, and research centers crucial to the Polish defense industry. It is the national leader in the technical modernization of the Polish Armed Forces.

The scope of cooperation between both entities may in the future include, among others, the provision of supplies and services for products manufactured by PGZ, the development of projects and innovative technical solutions, as well as establishing cooperation with PGZ subsidiaries.

– The Polish Armaments Group, as the leader of the Polish arms sector, systematically expands the group of its business partners to efficiently respond to the needs of the Polish Army. At the same time, we are looking for partners from various areas of activity to improve the efficiency of the entire group. We want them to include companies with a recognized position on the market. That is why during this year’s MSPO we signed a cooperation agreement with Grenevia – says Marcin Idzik, Vice President of the Management Board of PGZ SA.
